Core Beliefs and Values

The Holy Bible is the account of God’s action on earth and His purpose for all creations. It is an amazing collection of sixty-six books, all containing the message that God wants us to keep since it is a fundamental source of our needs for life and Faith.

Hence we draw our Core Beliefs and Values from the Holy Bible

Our Core Beliefs

  • We believe in God: God is Trinity (three in one): The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19
  • We believe in Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus is the only Saviour and Lord of all and that Jesus Christ is the only way to reconcile with God, the Father. 2 Timothy 1:10 and Isaiah 9:6
  • We believe in Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is God’s gift to the Church which offers power and gifts for the Church’s ministry. Acts 2:38
  • We believe in Baptism by immersion: We believe in the scriptural mode of baptism: immersion with the whole body completely dipped into the water. Water Baptism is for people who have genuinely repented their sins because this act is a symbol of the Christian’s identification of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and once baptized, we walk in the newness of life. Matt. 3:6; Acts 10:48; 19:5; Romans 6:4 and Col. 2:12

esus established water baptism as a sign of people’s commitment to His belief when He gave the great commission message.  Matt. 28:19-20 and Mark 16:16.

Water baptism is far more than a ritual or religious exercise; it’s a public, outward declaration that reflects a personal, inward faith. It associates the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and signifies the believer’s death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Jesus Christ. Romans 6:1-8, Col. 2:12 and 2 Cor. 5:17.

In order to understand the reason for being water baptised, it is important to carefully consider what the Bible says about it. John 3:3-7 and  Mark 16:16

We believe that for people to receive Jesus as their Saviour, they need to be born again through baptism (Baptism by immersion) in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Matt. 28:19 and John 3:3

We believe in Eternal LifeWe believe that God will grant Eternal life to those people who have faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour. “For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

We believe that All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:16-17

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor. John 1:1, Matt. 1:18, Luke 24:39 and Hebrews 4:14.

We believe that for all who have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and that repentance is recommended for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. Romans 3:23-24

We believe that in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word and by the Holy Spirit. Romans 6:1-23

We believe that holiness is God’s standard of living for His people. 1 Peter 1:16

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is subsequent to a clean heart. Acts 1:4-8

We believe that Jesus died for us, buried, resurrected from the dead and went to heaven where He is seating with His Father. We also believe in His second coming in order to Judge those who will be dead or alive. Acts 1:11

We also believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked. Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29 and Rev. 20:4-6, 11-15

  • Caring for one another is a Christian principle that leads to complete devotion to Christianity.
  • The church is a living organism, the body of Christ and should be structured as such.

  • We value Giving because the Scriptures tell us that giving comes with rewards and blessings from God
